In 2021 I invited a Guest Artists to share his images on greeting cards, and he said Yes! I’m thrilled to share Steve Kay's work here for the first time.
STEVE KAY’s Artist Statement:
I started showing silkscreen prints, mostly hard-edge geometric graphic designs, in the 1970’s, along with whimsical penand-ink-and colored-pencil drawings. For the last two decades most of my work has been computer drawings using the Microsoft Paint program, because of the flexibility and the range of the color pallet it offers. One major category of that work reflects my earlier whimsical drawings, while the other reflects my earlier geometric work
These greetings cards are printed on high-quality white Kromecote paper. They are BLANK on the inside so you can write your own personalized message. All are printed in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, by Beau Graphics, a veteran printing company with 40 years experience. Cards are glossy on the outside to make the colors shimmer -- and matte finish in the interior for ease of writing your individual message.
